A Poem about Mu

On a funderous day in the country of Mu
where the skies are all green and the fields are all blue,
a Babisil baby was walking one day
when a big purple Mu-cow came over his way.

"Hello, Mr Mu-cow!" the proud baby said,
but the sad little Mu-cow just shook his sad head.
"Oh dear, Mr cow, what on earth is the matter?"
"You see," said the Mu-cow, "us cows should get fatter

each day, with this yummy blue Mu-grass around,
but those others are eating it straight off the ground!
I want proper dishes and plates for my dinner,
so that's why I've grown so much smaller and thinner."

He looked very mournful, and poked at the grass.
"You know, I'm the littlest cow in my class?"
he continued, but baby was over the moon
with delight as he pulled out his Babisil spoon!

He scooped up some Mu-grass and held it up high
but the cow shrugged his shoulders, and said, with a sigh,
"well thanks very much, but I think that I'll wait
until somebody else comes along with a plate."

So baby reached into his backpack once more,
and pulled out a bowl, which he placed on the floor
full of lovely blue grass, but when Mu tried to eat,
the bowl just kept slipping and hitting his feet!

"Oh dear," cried the Mu-cow, "now what can we do?!
I haven't got nails, or a hammer, or glue."
But baby knew just what to do about that
as he reached in and pulled out a stickybowl-mat!

So Mu-cow and baby both feasted together
'til Mu-cow was bigger, and these days, whenever
they go out exploring, the very best bit
is when baby can bring out his Babisil kit
